Ex Wycombe Warrior 18 & 19 July

LFAs 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16 & 17

Ex Wycombe Warrior is a medium scale multinational exercise that will consist of up to 80 sorties each day.  The exercise involves a mixture of ground, sea and air assets and is designed to train operators at all levels, both on the ground and in the air, to function effectively in a hostile EW environment.

RAF Benson

A families day is planned for Thursday 30 August

RAF Coningsby

6 Squadron will host an event to make the retirement of the Jaguar on 29th June, see Cosford for delivery dates.

RAF Cottesmore

A families day is planned for Friday 27th July

RAF Kinloss/Lossiemouth

Exercise Neptune Warrior 07/2 starts on 17th September and end 29th September.

Kings Lynn

4xTornado GR4 will be carrying out a flypast of Kings Lynn at 1430 July 22nd as part of the 'Freedom of Kings Lynn' parade.

RAF Lakenheath

The 81st FS from Spangdahlem are currently in residence until the end of July while the runway is re-surfaced, the A-10s are using the East and West Coast ranges.

Linton on Ouse

A families day is planned for July 26th

RAF Marham

A families day will take place here on July 26th

RAF Odiham

A families day is planned for Thursday 26 July

RAF Scampton

The Red Arrows families day is planned for August 22nd

RAF Shawbury

A families day is planned for July 27th

RAF Valley

July 11th There will be a flypast of RAF Valley between 1115-1215 and 1420-1515 by nine Hawk AC.

19 Squadron will host a detachment of Polish Mig-29s sometime in the spring.

The next scheduled visit from the Meteor Gripen Team is for August

Participation so far; Tucano's, Marham Wing Tornado GR4's, 99 Sqn C-17 for circuits, Hunter T7, Bulldog, Irish AC Alouette [last visit before retirement in September] and the new AW 139. USAFE and French Navy will agree types in next six weeks.

RAF Waddington

Two IL-76, two IL-78s and six Su-30s have arrived to take part in an exercise. One IL-78 and the IL-76s will depart on the Saturday 29th June, coming back Sat 14th July with the detachment departing back to India on Tuesday 17th July.

RAF Wittering

A families day is planned for Thursday 5th July
